O ye who believe! stand out firmly for Allah as witnesses to
fair dealing and let not the hatred of others to you make you
swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is
next to Piety: and fear Allah for Allah is well-acquainted with
all that ye do. 707 [Qur'an 5.8 Yusuf Ali translation]

Follow (O men!) the revelation given unto you from your
Lord and follow not as friends or protectors other than Him.
Little it is ye remember of admonition. 991

"Show me where it hurts," God said,
and every cell in my body
burst into tears before His tender eyes.
A poem by Rumi (from his Mathnawi):
What is justice? Giving water to trees.
What is injustice? Giving water to thorns.
Justice consists in bestowing bounty in its proper place,
not on every root that will absorb water. And so in the interest of watering trees and not thorns, or wetting everything that drinks water, and of course, in an effort to obey Allah's [God's] commands, we are striving to obey His commands and to also keep people informed of our activities towards establishing a Darul Qada for Muslims here in Canada where Muslims constitute a clear minority.
Here are several links describing and outlining the issues as well as the Institute's activities.
